Hall of Fame game tickets being sold
The Greensburg Pirates boys basketball team will participate in the prestigious City Securities Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday, Dec. 28. Greensburg will play Mt. Vernon in the first game (11 a.m.) followed by Columbus North versus Evansville Harrison. The consolation game between the two losing teams will be held at 6 p.m. followed by the championship game.
Tickets for all four games are being sold in Mr. Edwards’ athletic office each day for $10 per ticket. There are no assigned seats and there is not a limit on the number of tickets a person can purchase and they are for sale to all people.
If tickets remain at the door on the day of the tournament, they will cost $20. Greensburg wants to have a tremendous amount of fans at the Classic, so purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
Pirate 7B boys fall to Sunman-Dearborn
The Greensburg Pirates 7B team traveled to Sunman Dearborn Thursday and fell short by a final score of 30-24.
Austin Redd led all scorers with 12 points, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. Eric Million was the next Pirate in the scoring column with 6 points, 1 assist, and 3 steals. Justin Bischoff had 3 points and 2 steals. Joey Woods had 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
Greensburg 7B returns to action Tuesday, Jan. 7 at home against South Dearborn starting at 5:30.
