GB junior varsity girls vs East Central JV, 6 p.m.


GB girls vs South Decatur, 7:30 (no South JV)

ND boys scrimmage vs South Dearborn, 6 p.m.

Saturday

GB wrestling at Rushville Varsity IN, 8 a.m. WI

GB JV wrestling at Charlestown IN, 8 a.m. WI

GB girls at Jennings County, 6 p.m. JV

SD girls vs North, 6:30 (no JV)

South girls fall to Spartans

The South Decatur girls basketball team visited Southwestern (Shelby) Tuesday night, falling to the Spartans 56-36.

According to head coach Amy Macy, a major contributor to the loss was South’s inability to shoot well.

Statistics from the game were not available at the time The Daily News went to press.

The Lady Cougars (0-3) visit Greensburg (1-1) Friday night at 7:30 p.m. South does not have a junior varsity team, but Greensburg's JV team will host East Central's JV at 6 p.m. Friday.

Pirate boys host scrimmage tonight

The Greensburg boys basketball team is hosting a scrimmage tonight against Cambridge City, starting at 6:30 p.m. The admission is $2.

Pirate boys tickets on sale

Greensburg will be selling boys varsity basketball season tickets each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the athletic office. The cost is $45 and will be good for the home boys basketball games. All-sports tickets can still be purchased for $50 for adults, $40 for students and $150 for a family, and are good for all athletic events.

Open gym offered at GCHS

The Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department is offering open gym at the GCHS Fieldhouse on Sundays from 5-9 p.m. Take advantage of this opportunity to play basketball, volleyball or walk on the indoor track.

This is being offered free of charge by the Parks and Recreation Department.
