DCGSA signups available

The registration period for the Decatur County Girls Softball Association is in progress.

DCGSA is taking registration for slow pitch and fast pitch softball. Signups are taking place every Saturday in the month of March (3/22, 3/29) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Armory (Park and Rec Building)

Those with questions they can call Phil Nobbe at 593-6763 or Mark Wolters 593-1551.

 

Greensburg Youth Baseball signups

Greensburg Youth Baseball signups will continue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Decatur County Parks and Recreation. Signups are taking place on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Parks and Rec.

The last day for registration is Wednesday, March 26.

The cost is $50 for the first child, $40 for the second child, $30 for the third, and $20 for any additional child.

Anyone wishing to be a coach in Greensburg Youth Baseball for the upcoming season should contact Larry Ricketts at 812-560-9086, or Joe Cain at 812-614-4529.

 

Men’s & Co-Ed Softball Registration

The Greensburg Slowpitch Softball Association announces that registration is underway for the men’s and co-ed softball leagues.

Rosters and the team entry fee of $375 are due in the Parks and Recreation Department office no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, April 25. Late registrations will be accepted until May 2 for a fee of $400.

Men’s games will be played on Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning on May 13 or 15. The night will be determined by the teams participating. The men’s will be a bring-your-own-ball league. Balls must be 44 core/400 compression or less. The co-ed games will be played on Fridays beginning on May 9.
