South girls fall to Oldenburg
The South Decatur girls basketball team fell to Oldenburg Academy 70-52 Wednesday on the road.
The Lady Cougars fall to 5-8 overall, while the Twisters, a potential sectional opponent, improves to 6-6.

North 8th boys fall to Hauser
The North Decatur eighth grade boys basketball team fell to Hauser 33-24 in recent action. North led 10-6 after the first stop, and 17-14 at the half. However, Hauser outscored North 11-4 in the third quarter to retake the lead. The Jets outscored the Chargers 8-3 in the final period.
Evan Smith led North with 15 points. Cole Parmer scored five, while Caleb Stapp and Brandon Becker each added two.
North boys at Edinburgh Jan. 27
The North Decatur boys varsity/JV games against host Edinburgh Tuesday are now being played Monday, Jan. 27. The games had been postponed because of winter weather. They were originally postponed Saturday, Dec. 14 because of weather.
South boys vs Morristown Jan. 28
The South Decatur boys basketball games Friday night against Morristown were called off because of the winter weather. The games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 28 at South Decatur.
Open swim offered on Sundays
The Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department is offering open swimming at the Greensburg Community High School.
The pool will be open, free of charge, on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. beginning on Sunday, Feb. 9 and continuing through Sunday, March 16.
Non-swimmers under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
