Greensburg — Posted below are the Decatur County sports digest announcements for April 17.

SCHEDULE

Wednesday (today)

ND baseball vs Oldenburg, 5 p.m.

SD boys golf vs E. Central, 4:30

GB baseball at Rushville, 5 p.m.

Thursday (tomorrow)

GB track vs Shelby/Connersville, 5 p.m.

GB baseball at East Central, 5 p.m.

GB softball at Lawrenceburg, 5 p.m.

GB girls tennis at East Central, 5 p.m.

ND boys golf vs Batesville/Hauser @ Hauser, 4:30

ND baseball at Indian Creek, 4:30

ND softball at Oldenburg, 4:30

SD baseball at Milan, 4:30

SD boys golf vs Brown County, 4:30



South JH track teams top Hauser

Both the boys’ and girls’ South Decatur junior high track and field teams were victorious over Hauser Wednesday night.

The girls meet was a close one, with a score of 35-31. The boys won 41.5-24.5.

The South boys 4x100 relay team beat the school record with a time of 49.84 seconds. The team consists of Damon Allen, Nick Benge, Brandon Malott, and Dylan Cowins.

Sports rained out Tuesday

Sports events scheduled for Tuesday have been rained out.

Makeup dates for postponed games and matches will be announced when determined.

South girls basketball camp set

The South Decatur girls basektball program will conduct a basketball camp for girls from grades kindergarten through sixth grade. The camp will take place from April 29 to April 30, and May 1 and 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. after grades 4-6 Volleyball Camp.

Campers are encouraged to bring a snack and a lot of water, and will have some rest time between camps. Campers will learn fundamentals such as dribbling, passing shooting, jumping, offensive concepts, defensive concepts and more.

The camp fee is $35.

At the end of camp, there will also be information about a fall and winter travel ball league. Make sure you get this information.

Campers will receive a T-shirt at the end of camp.
