Pirate 8th spikers win at Brookville

The Greensburg eighth grade volleyball team traveled to Brookville Monday night and came away victorious 25-13, 25-15.

Bailey Meyer led in serving 13/14, Kirstin Hersley was 9/12, Ashlynn Meyer added 1 ace. Keirsten Lynette led the attack at the net with 1 kill and Sierra Johnson was 5/7 at the net. Johnson led in passing with 16/19, Hersley was 13/14, and Bailey Meyer was 11/11. Johnson also added a block.

Open gym at GCHS fieldhouse

The Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department is offering open gym at the GCHS Fieldhouse on Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Take advantage of this opportunity to play basketball, volleyball or walk on the indoor track. This is being offered free of charge by the Parks and Recreation Department.
