In the girls’ race, the Lady Pirates placed 3rd overall and improved their record to 73-29 on the season. Greensburg’s performance qualified the girls for the regional meet on Saturday. Shelby Pake earned all-sectional recognition for the second time. She ran 20:19 to lead the Lady Pirates with a fifth-place finish. Freshmen Allie Reisman and April Morrow also were all-sectional on Tuesday. Reisman was 18th in 22:13, and April took 20th in 22:19. Senior Erin Hamilton led a trio of Greenburg runners to the finish. She placed 28th in 23:00. Freshman Ellie Burkhart was 29th in 23:06 with sophomore Mary Kate Porter in 30th place in 23:16. Junior Cara Zeigler was 45th in 24:59.
“The girls did a great job racing tonight,” said Davis. “I’m looking forward to seeing us run well at home for the regional.
For the South girls, sophomore Ashley Hamilton earned All-Sectional with a 19th-place 22:14. Freshman Stacy Fox was 44th in 24:30. Senior Emily Mapes placed 49th in 25:40, while senior Paje Smiley was 66th with a time of 33:53.
South sophomore Justyn Clark earned All-Sectional, placing 10th in 17:57. Junior Nick Grissom was 45th in 20:07. Senior Brandon Overlock placed 58th in 21:13, senior Tyler Wamsley took 62nd in 21:48, and freshman Daniel Mapes was 66th in 23:16.
North boys results (8th): 31. Brady Holloway (19:20); 35. Arek Holloway (19:32); 43. Gage Acton (19:58); 48. Zach Johnson (20:54); 50. Tyler Jennings (20:31); 55. Kyle Fogle (20:46); 63. Luke Badgley (22:02).

The regional meet will take place at Greensburg High School. The boys’ race starts at 10:30 a.m., with the girls’ competition to follow at 11:15.
