Greensburg — The Greensburg track and field teams hosted a tri meet Thursday against Connersville and Shelbyville.

The weather held up and allowed all events to take place despite windy conditions and the threat of storms.

Shelbyville’s boys won the meet with 82 points. Connersville was second with 59, while Greensburg’s third-place total was 15.

Highlighting the night were first-place finishes by senior Colin Evans in the discus throw, and senior Ryan Martin in the shot put. Evans marked a discus throw of 121 feet, six inches, while Martin won the shot put with a mark of 44-06.
