---- — The sectional-champion Greensburg girls tennis program conducted its end-of-season awards banquet this week.
Junior Danielle Schroeder, a three-year letter winner and conference Most Valuable Player, was named Greensburg MVP. Kelly Meyer was named Most Improved, while senior Claire Welage, a four-year varsity player, won the Mental Attitude Award.
Making the All-District team were Schroeder, Welage and junior Caroline Pratt.
The team was also named Academic All-State as Greensburg posted a combined GPA of 3.74, which was the average GPA of the seven girls that played in the sectional.
