Rushville — The Greensburg boys varsity golf team fell to Rushville 174-178 at Antler Pointe Golf Course.

Rushville’s Nate Hoeing took meet medalist for the round with a 2-over 38.

Leading Greensburg in scoring were Sam Marsh (43) and Tyler Reiger (44).

Other Greensburg scores were Keegan McCullough (45), Reid Domingo (46), Bill Neuemeier (55), Jake Hellmich (45), Kyle Colson (49), and Corey Dennett (58).

“We’re still trying to get our grasp on away courses,” said Greensburg head coach Bryce Mize. “We’ve been close in a lot of matches lately, and we are hoping to get over that hump soon. We’ve just gotten ourselves into some tricky situations each round. I was proud of Hellmich and Colson tonight. This is Jake’s second good outing of the year, and I hope he can find some consistency. It was Colson’s first match of the year, so I was really pleased with his score.”
