Greensburg — Posted below are the Decatur County sports digest announcements for May 10.

GB girls tennis hosts EIAC, 9 a.m.

ND baseball DH vs Rising Sun, 10 a.m.

ND softball vs Rising Sun, 10 a.m.

ND boys golf hosts MHC, 8 a.m.

SD baseball @ Edinburgh (DH), 10 a.m.

North baseball vs Greensburg called off

The varsity baseball game between North Decatur and Greensburg, at North, was called off Thursday because of lightning and thunderstorms. No makeup plans were announced.

North Branch hosting MHC golf

The Mid-Hoosier Conference golf tournament will take place at North Branch Golf Course Saturday at 8 a.m.

Greensburg tennis hosts EIAC

The Greensburg girls tennis team is hosting the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference meet Saturday at 9 a.m.

Greensburg varsity softball rescheduled

Greensburg has rescheduled the varsity softball game at Triton Central, which was postponed Tuesday, to Friday, May 17 at 5 p.m.

Pirate boys JH linksters win

The Greensburg junior high boys golf team improved to 11-8 by defeating Shelbyville at the Greensburg Country Club. The Pirates shot a team score of 185, while Shelbyville recorded a 195.

Meet medalist in the boys’ meet was Trevor Stapp with a 40. Other top scores for the Pirates included Colton Williams with a 47, and Kole McGinn and Brentt Bowling each with 49’s. Other scores include Nathan Emsweller with a 52 and Josh Ankney with a 55.
