South youth football camp set

The South Decatur Youth Football Camp is set to take place later this month.

The camp is set for Monday, June 16 through Thursday, June 19 (revised camp dates) at South Decatur High School, from 10:30 a.m. until noon.

Anyone with questions can contact Rodney Martin, South’s head varsity football coach, at 343-0685.

Boys Golf Sectional today

The Greensburg Boys Golf Sectional tournament is set for today at 8:30 a.m. at the Greensburg Country Club.

Thirteen teams will be competing: Batesville, Columbus East, Columbus North, East Central, Greensburg, Hauser, Jac-Cen-Del, Lawrenceburg, Milan, North Decatur, Oldenburg Academy, South Dearborn and South Decatur.

Greensburg Football Camp set

The Greensburg Football Camp has been set for next month.

The camp is organized for participants from grades one through five, and will take place from June 9 through June 13 at the high school field.

The camp cost is $30. Those wanting more information can contact Greensburg coach Scott Moore and the high school.

Pirate basketball camp next week

The Greensburg girls basketball team is conducting its summer camp next month.

The Future Pirate Basketball Camp will take place from June 9 through June 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for grades kindergarten through fifth grade at the high school.

Signup forms can be picked up at school, or can be printed off the Greensburg Elementary Web site.

South hosts volleyball camp

SDHS will be hosting volleyball camp June 9 - 12 for any girl going into the 7th or 8th grade next year and is interested in playing volleyball.

Camp will be Monday through Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $35 per person and includes a volleyball and camp T-shirt. The fee can be paid the first day of camp (parents please come into the gym to fill out small registration form.)
