Pirate gridders host scrimmage Friday

The Greensburg football program will host Indian Creek in a football scrimmage Friday at 7 p.m. at Shriver Field.

The cost for admission will be $3.

Sharks set to swim again

The Decatur County Sharks swim team is set to begin practicing again on Monday Aug. 19. There will be a free two-week trial period Aug. 19-30, so now is the time to try it out!

The Sharks are a USA Swimming swim team led by head coach Josh Hawkins and is now in its second full season.

Women’s volleyball league offered

The Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department is offering a women’s volleyball league set to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Rosters and the team entry fee of $190 must be turned in to the Parks Department office no later than Tuesday, Aug. 20. Player fees of $10 for in-county players and $15 for out-of-county players must be paid prior to the first match.
