Schmidt reached for the second time in the inning with a single that brought home Owens to make it 8-1.

Ward singled scored on a Biltz double, and Phillips drove in Biltz with a single. After reaching on a fielder’s choice, Schmidt scored on a double by Schultz to make it 11-3. Sophomore Chelsea Hersley then singled to score Lillie Wolter.

Greensburg enacted the run rule in the fifth. After Geis tripled and scored on Ward’s groundout, making it 13-3. Biltz walked, then Owens and Phillips each singled to load the bases. Senior Channon Brown courtesy ran for Phillips. Schmidt then doubled to score Owens and Brown for the final 15-3 margin.
