The North Decatur eighth grade volleyball team won two of its past three matches as the end of September approached.
In their most recent action, the Lady Chargers beat Laurel 25-11, 25-9.
Megan Flynn served 27-for-27 with 25 points and 13 aces. Sarah Bohman hit 5-for-5 with two kills and two block-kills. Regan Day hit 6-for-6 with two kills and one block-kill, while Jesse Closser hit 5-for-5 with one kill.
Lily Meyer set 12-for-12.
On Sept. 24, North beat Jennings County 25-15, 25-9. Hannah Fortner served 12-for-12 with 10 points and six aces, while Day served 13-for-14 with 11 points and six aces. Kiara Nobbe served 3-for-5 with three points.
Bohman tallied five kills, Day added four and Closser chipped in two.
North fell to Hauser on Sept. 23, 25-9, 25-8.
