North serves up Senior Night win

The North Decatur volleyball team improved to 18-6 on the season with a four-set win over Tri High Tuesday on Senior Night. North honored seniors Erin Hoeing, Anna Schwartz, Alison Wallpe, Anna Wallpe and Erin Yager.

The Chargers fell in the first set, but took set two 25-15. After taking set three, the Lady Chargers trailed 17-8 in the fourth set before coming back to win it 25-23.

North has won 16 of 17 matches overall.

North knocked off host Oldenburg Academy in three sets Monday night. The Lady Chargers improved to 17-6 after beating the Lady Twisters 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Stats for Monday night:

Baili Ewing served 13-14 with 3 aces, 2 kills and 6 digs.

Erin Yager had 12 digs.

Kaitlin Herbert hit 13-14 with 5 kills, 1 solo block, 3 assist blocks, and 2 digs.

Erin Hoeing served 14-15 with 2 aces, hit 18-23 with 8 kills and 15 digs.

Mary Hughes served 16-17 with 1 ace, set 49-49 with 19 assist and 5 digs.

Anna Schwartz had 2 digs.

Laura Haunert served 6-6, set 38-38 with 6 assists and 4 digs.

Anna Schwering hit 22-23 with 8 kills and 3 digs.

Allie Louder hit 2-2.

Anna Wallpe served 10-10, hit 18-19 with 8 kills, 1 solo block and 3 assist blocks.

Alison Wallpe served 8-10, hit 12-13 with 3 kills and 2 digs.
