Monday
The Alzheimer’s Association offers support groups for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Participants in support groups receive emotional support, practical assistance in coping with the issues they face, and the latest information about research. All meetings are confidential and free of charge. The caregiver support group meetings in Greensburg are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 4 p.m. at the Greensburg Library, 1110 East Main Street. The New Point Community Center will open its doors to walkers who want to escape the harsh winter weather. Walking hours will be from 6-7 p.m. on Monday’s and Thursdays. The public is welcome.
The Mental Health Support Group meets at 7 p.m. the last Monday of each month in the conference room of the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. They invite everyone suffering from mental illness or caring for a family member with mental illness to attend. All meetings are held strictly confidential. New Point Community Senior Club meets every fourth Tuesday at the New Point Community Senior Center at 6 p.m.
The Greensburg Library will have a Microsoft Word workshop on February 19 at 6 p.m.

Come learn about the benefits of laughter and how to laugh again at the Greensburg Public Library on February 19 from 7 - 8 p.m. Certified Laughter Leader, Dianna Pandak, will lead the program and have you ha-ha-ha’ing in no time.
