Decatur County Human Services, Inc. administers the Child Care Voucher Program for Decatur County. This program provides services through licensed providers for parents seeking quality child care. Currently there is a very small waiting list. To apply for this program come to Human Services with your most recent pay stub or current school schedule. You will be asked to fill out an application and provide some general information. Our child care providers are licensed through the SIEOC. Anyone wanting to become a licensed provider may also contact Human Services at 1939 N. Carver Street Greensburg or call (812)663-8830.
If your child enjoys listening to stories, singing, dancing and making crafts, you should stop by the Children's Room at the Greensburg Library to sign up for Story Time. It is open to children ages 3 to 6 years of age. Classes are available Monday and Thursday evenings and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
