STATEHOUSE – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) welcomed the following students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in March and April.

James Garrett, from Shelbyville, attends Shelbyville High School

Adam Hollowell, from Batesville, attends Batesville High School

David Koch, from Oldenburg, attends St. Louis Catholic School

Emily Koch, from Oldenburg, attends Oldenburg Academy

Tracy McKittrick, from Batesville, attends Jac-Cen-Del Jr./Sr. High School

Ashley Morford, from Greensburg, attends North Decatur High School

Sam Price, from Shelbyville, attends Shelbyville High School

Claire Saner, from Batesville, attends St. Louis Catholic School

Madison Wanstrath, from Batesville, attends St. Louis Catholic School

Libby Weinantz, from Flat Rock, attends Southwestern Elementary School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
