State Senator Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg, third from right) welcomes representatives of Rush Memorial Hospital and Margaret Mary Health to the Statehouse Tuesday, March 7, for the Suburban Health Organization Legislative Day. The group discussed a variety of issues impacting hospitals in Senate District 42, as well as ways to better address local health care concerns. Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
