LIBRARY GOES TO HOGWARTS

A magical trip to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry awaits young trick-or-treaters at the annual Greensburg Public Library “Bats and Books” Halloween celebration from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. A singing Sorting Hat, a real live Quidditch player, a talking clock and many more Harry Potter amusements await young muggles there. Amy, Jill and Linda, students of Hogwarts from the houses of Hufflepuff and Griffindor, are pictured assembling the Harry Potter room as they prepare for the party. “We have so many fun things to share. Kids can visit Honeydukes sweets shop in Hogsmeade, make two different crafts, listen to the Sorting Hat, and just have a good time with family,” Jill said. “But we only have so much time, so come early!” The event is offered free of charge to all who care to visit. Questions may be directed to the library at 812-663-2826.
