Rush County structure fire

Volunteer fire department units were dispatched to the southeast corner of Rush County just before 5 p.m. March 24. Responders arrived to find a working structure fire. A house and garage were fully involved. The Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department, the Anderson Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, Rushville Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Rush County Sheriff’s Department all provided mutual aid in response. Units were on the scene for approximately five hours extinguishing flames and hot spots.
