The Greensburg varsity softball team scored 11 runs in the first inning to post a 20-5 won over visiting Lawrenceburg Thursday night.
Highlighting the win was sophomore Britney Biltz’s record-setting home run, which lifted her into the school’s career lead in home runs.
Greensburg tallied 17 hits, led by three apiece from Biltz and sophomore Keauna Schultz.
Biltz and Schultz also drove in three runs apiece, along with freshman Gabby Burton.
Senior Alli Phillips pitched four innings, giving up two earned runs, no walks and striking out two batters.
Freshman Haylee Owens, who pitched a one-hit shutout against North Decatur earlier this week, struck out two in an inning of relief.
