On the road at Lawrenceburg, the Lady Chargers gave the Lady Tigers all they could handle, but came up just short in five games 25-20, 24-26, 25-18, 16-25, 15-10.

“I give my girls an “A” tonight for their hustle and heart. After an exhausting week, they gave an outstanding effort in tonight's match. I feel like we're right there on the edge of our break-out game and though we'll be entering our sectional with a losing record, I still feel like we have as good of a chance as anybody to win it,” North head coach Betsy Davis noted.

For North, Mindy Koors received 20-21 and had 16 digs. Erica Stevens served 10-14 with three aces, received 4-6, hit 9-10 with four kills and had two digs and three blocks. Danielle Trenkamp hit 22-25 with 11 kills.

“Our setter junior Ann Schwering had her highest assist game of the season and that's exactly what I want to see from her this time of the year. I can't complain about any of the girls and their overall performance tonight, so I'm very optimistic about facing South Ripley next week and anyone else who falls into our bracket,” Coach Davis added.
